BOXING ASSOCIATION.

Mr A. Russell presided over a meeting of. the Committee of the West Coast Box“ mg Association, held at the Albion Hotel on Thursday evening. There was a large attendance of members. The Secretary dr F. Keddcll) reported that negotiations wore well advanced for the arrangement of a professional bout oil each night of the meeting. It was decided to arrange for two professional bouts, if possible. It was reported that amateur boxers arc taking a keen interest in the tournament, and that very large entries would most likely lie received.
