PUBLIC NOTICE. mHE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of X the Greymouth Racecourse Reserve doth muter, and in pursuance of ■•The Greymouth Racecourse Reserve Act, 1878!" make the following rules describing the conditions on which the public shall be permitted to have access to the said Greymouth Racecourse upon any day when the same shall he used for racing purposes: 1. No person shall upon any portion of tlie said racecourse carI ry on the business of a bookmaker, or betting agent. or layer of totalisator odds or layer of starting prices. 2. No person shall upon any portion of the said racecourse shout or cry betting odds or prices, or advertise himself to the public as open bi" make bets or lav odds on starting prices, or as willing to enter into any betting or wagering contract either upon the result of any race or otherwise, or stand or remain in any place or spot for the purpose of doing any of the said things. 3. No person shall upon any portion of the said racecourse accept or take any bet, wager, or wagering contract on the result of any race or otherwise, save ami except by means of the Totalisator. 4. If any person shall commit a breach of the above conditions, or any of them, he shall be deemed thereafter to be a trespasser, and any license to bo or enter on the said racecourse that he may have had shall be thereupon determined, and iio may be ordered to leave the .said racecourse; and. failing compliance with such order, lie may be ejected from the said racecourse, and may be prosecuted as a trespasser. 5. No person who has committed a lu-eacli of the above conditions, and been ordered to leave the saiil racecourse or ejected therefrom shall again enter thereon during any day of the racemeeting then being held. 6. The said Trustees, the Committee, Stewards. Officers, Servants and Employees of the Greymouth Jockey Club and constables and police officers are hereby authorised and empowered to enforce the due observance and performance of tlie above conditions. 7.
