Mails for the United Kingdom, Conti nent of Europe, via Suez (for specially addressed correspondence), also United, State of America and Eastern Canada, close at Wellington on the 19th May and at Auckland on 21st May. Mails to connect close here on Tuesday, 16th May, at 9 a.m. For money orders at 4 p.m. and registered letters at 5 p.m. on Monday, 15th instant. Mails due at New York about 4th August. PRINCE OF WALES’ BIRTHDAY. The following hours of attendance will be observed at the Grcymouth office on Monday, the 4th Juno, 1905. Post Office.—A close holiday will bo observed. Mails usually despatched on Mondays will close at 7 a.m. on that day. There will be no letter-carriers’ delivery, but a delivery of correspondence will bo made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd. The private box lobby will bo open as usual. Telegraph Office.—Open from 9 a.m. (o 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange—Open as usual.
