A BRUNNER WEDDING.

McCarthy—smith. A pretty wedding was solemnised in St. I Saviour’s Church, Wallsend, on Thursday 1 Inst, tho contracting parties being Mr F. McCarthy and Miss S. Smith, youngest daughter of tho lato H. Smith, of Tnylorville. Tho Rev. Mr Barnett was the officiating minister. Tho bride was dressed in soft cream silk trimmed with pleated chiffon and silk insertion, white shoes, wreath and veil, and carried a very pretty , bouquet. Tho bridesmaids were Miss Louisa Nybcrg (ncice of bride), and Miss IS. Waite. The former was dressed in soft cream silk with lace yoke and insertion and wore a pretty white hat with streamers. Miss Waite was dressed in soft white muslin with a pretty blue hat. Mr T. A. Smith (brother) gave the bride away, while Mr J. Smith (also brother nf the bride) acted as best man. Mr J. Hyndman was groomsman. . :
