OUR LITTLE DINNERS.

A SHILLING DINNER. 1. Cottage pie. 2, Baked plum pudling. Recipes.—Boil and mash some potatoes ; mince a pound of lean cooked meat. Make a good gravy by frying a chopped onion in dripping, an dsprinkling in flour and brown; dilute with water, boil Up with season and popper and salt. Put a layer of the potatoes in a greased dish, then one of meat sprinkled with gravy, and so on until the dish is full. *ut plenty of potatoes over tho top, and. brown well in oven. Cost, 7d. 2. Soa»c two ounces of broad in cold water until soft; drain and beat free of lumps. Mix this with two table Spoonfuls of flour, half a teaspoonful of baking powder, two ounces of chopped suet, two tablespoontill of currants, one of raisins, and a pinch of salt.
