On the meeting of the Hnrhour Board resuming in the iifternon the recommendation made to raise u loan of £50,000 was adopted. Consideration of letters from the Exhibition Committee re grant was postponed till next meeting. The Engineer reported that he could not recommend the filling in of the lagoon at Blakotov.n with material from the dredge owing to the great expense that would bo entailed. ■ It was resolved that the application of the residents of Blaketown cannot be entertained .
