(Our Own Correspondent.) The following applications were dealt with by the Warden yesterday:— Alex. McKenzie, special site. Withdrawn. F. W. Archer, timber warrant 20 acres, Capleston. Granted. Geo. Batira, special quartz claim of 100 acres at Snowy Creek. Granted, two months being allowed for commencement of operations. Alex. McKenzie, special quartz claim of 70 acres, Capleston.—Granted, one month to commence operations. T. E. McMahon, timber warrant of 20 acres, Waitahi.—Granted. M. Maloney, water race, Black water.— Granted. In the Magistrate’s Court R. Williams obtained judgment by default against C. Cox for £4 10s and costs. A number of other petty debt cases were called on, but were settled out of Court. A complaint under the Married Persons’ Summary Separation Act was adjourned until the 23rd instant.
