Arahura Live Stock Market.
Messrs G. W. Moss and Go report their sales atArahuraon Tuesday as follows The entry consisted of 70 local cattle, 25 ex-ship. All lines were cleared at late ruling rates. Fat Cattle—On account of Mr John M’Gregor, 25 prime handy weight bullocks from £9 10s to £B.
Fat Sheep—6o crossbred ewes, 17s 6d
Mark Sprot and Co report their sales at Arahura yesterday : The entry of fat cattle consisted of 70
, head and 95 head ex-slip. There was a > good attendance of buyers, including a number from the Grey district. About 800 sheep were entered and cleared at current sales. We sold ; On account of Mr Diedrichs 27 bullocks from £9 7s 6d to £8 ; 3 heifers from £6. On account of Mr T. Bouden, 4 bullocks from £9 ; 12 heifers from £6 10s, averag--5£ 10s.
On account of Mr H. Burrough, 20 bullocks from £lO, averaging £8 10s. Pat sheep—On account of Mr E. Adamson, 214 ewes and wethers from £l2s 6d to 18s 6d.
