SUPPLY OF GOAL TO RAILWAYS.
Tire Railways Department has accepted the following tenders for the supply and delivery of coal on the Wcllington-Napicr New Plymouth section : —At the Spit— Grcymouth-Point Elizabeth Coal Company, about 1000 tons of Brunner coal (unscreened), at 21s per ton; Blackball Coal Company, about 1500 tons of Blackball coal (screened), 2:3s (id. AtFoxton— Greymouth-Point Elizabeth Coal Company, about 3250 tons of Brunner coal (screened) at 2Ss. At Wanganui—Grey-mouth-Point Elizabeth Coal Company about 2500 tons of Brunner Coal (screened) at 275: Westport Coal Company, about 2500 tons of Coalbrookdale or Millerton (screened), at 28s. At Hew Plymouth —Greymouth-Point Elizabeth Coal Company, about 1000 tons of Brunner coal (screened), at 265; Blackball Coal Company, about 2000 tons of Blackball coal (screened) at 2:3s 6d. At Wellington Greymouth-Point Elizabeth Coal Company, about <IOOO tons of Brunner coal (screened), at 21s Gel; Westport Coal Company, about 3000 tons of Coalbrookdale or Millcrton coal (screened), at 22s 5d ; Blackball Coal Company, about 3000 tons of Blackball coal (unscreened) at 18s.
