Beceived this day at 9 11 a.m. London, April 23. Spenoer Gollan, Tom Sullivan, ex-New Zealanders ; and George Towns, ex-Aus-tralian, sculler*, rowed from Oxford to Putney, 104 miles in 13 hours and 06 minutes; establishing a long distance record. The journey was made majrft treble sculler, recently built for Gollan, with a view of breaking the Thames record.
