Mails for United States, Canada, United Kingdom, close at Wellington at 2 p m on 26th per Monowai connecting with Vancouver mail at Sydney [on 30th. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe U. S. America, via Frisco, closejhere on Tuesday, February oth at 830 am. Registered letters at 5p m, money orders at Ipm on 4th. Due in London March Bth. The public are warned that letters for Australia cannot be sent for Id, the letters must be stamped at the rate of 2d per 1 oz. Mails for Natal and Capetovyn, per Aberdeen on 22nd, Gulf of Bothnia 27th January, Naming 9th Fibruary, and Capetown, Persic, 2nd February from Melbourne. The Postal Authorities wish to draw special attention to the fact that rates of postage, except for letters and letter cards have not been reduced. Commercial paper-', newspapers, etc., require the same postage as before.
