Boer Loses in Recent Fighting
The Boers Shoot all their Native Prisoners.
Received this day, at 8 36 a m. London, January 22. The Boers had seven men killed and forty wounded in the fighting which recently took place at Vlaaklaagtc. In Darkly West district some native police, whom the Boers captured in the neighbourhood of Wiltowore, were shot. Kruitziners and Schcepcrs Commandos are now advancing on Winondale and Ondstborm, south-west of Willowmore. For the Regiment of Scottish Horse, which is forming at Durban, arrangements have been completed, under which recruits approved of by the Agents at Australian ports will bo offered a passage to South Africa. 300 horses and mules which were commandeered by the British in the Carnavon district, have been paid for.
