The Century Diotioxauy v.'ill help him, for here the different shades of meaning of words which are more or less alike in definition are most carefully explained. For instance, under animosity there is a list ol twelve words, ill-will, enmity, malice, etc., and a careful analysis of their different senses, followed hy quotations showing uses.
