FATHER AND SON ON BAIL (Per Press Association) Invercargill, February 27 Further evidence was heard in the Police Court before Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., in the case in which William. Mcßae and his son, William, both ot Duusdale, farmers, were charged witu being concerned in unlawfully making spirits.

An application by defending counsel that the charge against Mcßae, junr., should be dismissed' on til < ground that a prima facie case had not been made out against him, wa.-, rejected by the Magistrate. Defendants were committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being fixed as before, at £3OO and two sureties of £l5O in each case.
