New Trade Union Move PROVINCIAL* COUNCIL FORMED (pet Presa Association). Christchurch. April 10 A decision to form a \ provincial council of tratio unions was reached at a largely attended meeting of Canterbury Union executives yesterday. The meeting adopted a constitution and set up a committee of seven to bring down rules aril approach Individual unions who have not yet identified themselves with the unification scheme. The most important clause adopted makes it compulsory for affiliated unions to submit all claims for industrial agreements to the council before any action is taken by the union. In addition, the council reserves the right to have representatives at all conferencs or conciliation council sittings when industrial agreements are being considered.
