TYPHOID OUTBREAK

FROM RELIGIOUS CAM I* 28 CASES IX HOSPITAL, Cowra, N.S.W. Of tSUO persons from all parts of tile State who attended a camp under the auspices of the Followers of Christ at Wuttamondara a few weeks ago, 28 have been admitted to hospital suffering from typhoiil fever and three have died. Many did not take ill until they returned to their homes, no traces of disease have been found in the camp site and it is surmised that the outbreak was <hie to a typhoid carrier. Two inspectors of the Hoard of Health have been making' inquiries, but so far, they hnv not been able to determine the cause of the disease. Tlie deaths occurred at Foulin' Lucknow and Auburn. People who attended the camp from places as far as Narooma, Morcc Lake. Carg'ellieo, and Fieri tv. have been admitted to hospital suffering from typhoid.
