RECORD JOY-RIDING DAY AUSTRALIA EOT. 11 ‘S E D (Aust,. and N.Z. Cable.) New Plymouth, Jan 10. Air-Commodore Sir Charles Kingsford Smith had his record joy-riding day at New Plymouth yesterday. The numlier of passengers carried in Die one day was greater than it has ever been in Australia. This record is considered all the more remarkhide when the comparative sizes of New Plymouth and the Australian centres are taken into account. 'Diking tiie overflow. Hie Wellington Aero Club’s Waco, which was piloted by Flight-Lieutenant G. B. 8011, carried 150 passengers. Air. A. U . Xisbet stated last evening.
