SE\ T ENTH DAY ADVENTISTS ADDRESS ON COMAIUNISM A large congregation assembled in the pavilion at the camp meeting on the racecourse lastnight to listen to Pastor A. W. Anderson’s discourse on Communism. The speaker offered no apologies for inviting his audience to consider this question.. While, as a general rule he recognised that Christian ministers should leave political questions alone, yet when political principles are being advocated which are the subversion of the principles of truth and morality*, then it was the duty of ministers to warn the people of their danger—a danger which has been described as "the greatest, menace that has ever confronted the human race.” All over the world this menace was threatening to overthrow democracy, for if was the avowed aim of Communists to bring about a world revolution. Several passages of Scripture were quoted showing that this time of unprecedented perplexity through which we are passing was a definite sign of the times. from which we might learn that the second rid vent of Christ was at hand. . . .
