BRITAIN. EGYPT AND SUDAN (Aust. ami N.Z. Cable.) Cairo, January 9 I he Premier of Egypt, Sidky Paslia, says he hopes to conclude a treaty with Great! Britain settling the outstanding questions of tlie security of Imperial coinmuuicatiions, particularly of the Suez Canal, the defence of Egypt against aggression, tilie protection of foreigners and the con <rol /<>+ Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. He pro. poses that British troops withdraw tin the Canal and an Egyptian garrison be established in the Slid tin.
