Cable) (Received .lan. 12, 2 p.m.) Calcutta, January 11 For two hours a fierce encounter took place between Rutliam State’s forces ami a bandit fjang-. It resulted in two soldiers being killed, also two policemen and two bandits. The troops and police pursued the bandits Ho their lair in a ravine and later filed a vbllev killing' four. The State forces 'hen allow ed the bandits to exhaust their ammunition before closing in. Many were injured on both sides before all tile members oF the gang of 68 bandits were arrested and. put- into gaol.
