The death took place last night of MLsg E. Allen, of Canid*-n street, a sister of Mr \Y. Allen, tailor. Miss Allen was a prominent member of the local Baptist church. The death occurred at Rnnriman, Auckland, last week of Mr Patrick Martin, in his post .year. He had been a resident of New Zealand for 80 years, and as a youth served during the Maori War in the Waikato.
