Coincident with an announcement to-day of a £2<M) reward in connection with tile recent liouib explosion at tiie residence of Police Inspector Imp tell, there was. this evening, another explosion, presumably from a similar missile. The scene this time, however, was the police station it set;. About b.r. p.m. a loud report was heard, over a considerable area, but tin indication was subsequently obtainable as to exuetly where the explosion occurred.. A smell of explosive was noticed in the vicinity of the station, the windows of wlieli wore shaken, hut no sign of damage was discernible when the police ma la a search. Presumably tlie explosive went off iu tiie air before 1: tiding. It: must have been within 20 yards of the building.
