Golding, a Liberal, was elected to the House of Commons at the South Huron by--election over Mr. Louis Bader, a Conservative. by more than 1000 majority. The vacancy was caused by the death of Mr. Thomas McMillan, a Literal, who was elected by a majority of 349 at the election in 1930.
