Tli e Navy Department to-day aaitiouneed that tlie scouting fleet, comprising nine cruisers, thirty destroyers, eleven and one aircraft e.in'HT, will xoiriium in the Pacific for af least six months. Thus practically every fighting unit of the Navy will remain in the Pacific until tho summer.
