Since the amendment: to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act came into force nearly 110 industrial disputes have lieen dealt with in Conciliation Council, and in more than half of these complete ngreemenst have been reaelied. It is con-
sidered that the progress made, taking into account the amount of work entailed hy tlie proceedings, is satisfactory. The hearing of a Dominion citation in the engineering dispute Mill take place in the Conciliation Council on Tuesday.
