The Otago and Southland Synod decided to send greetings io the Rev. Alexander Greig, 04, the ordest Presbyterian in New Zealand. He was born in the parish of Harris, Kincardineshire, Scotland. Mr \V. 'l'. Wvnyard, a. well known figure- in sporting and business circles, died in Auckland on Sunday afternoon, lie was the second son of'Mr and Mrs J. (i. Wynyard of Devonport, and was a nephew of the late Colonel Wynyard, who acted in the rapacity of Governor of New Zealand.
