A RARE EXPERIENCE DRIFTS ON THE ROADS (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Sydney, August Id. -cverc; cold snap is being experienced in Eastern and Scuthcru New South M ales and Victoria. There wore falls of snow in many places and tho lofty range's in South Austral a had a light covering, a rarity in that State. Blue Mountain centres report from two to three inches of snow, and travejer-i from Kosciuscci to Owma and Calmerra were held up by drills on the roacL-.
