It is file outcome of many years’ research work by an industrial chemist, Dr. Willows, of Tootal. Brondhurst, Lee and Co., who have paicmed I lie process in Britain and 20 other countries. and are extending their Grossop works to produce i-re,useless fabrics. The process also serves as a pro - servative to artificial silk and j>rev<nts them rotting when ws.died. It is applicable also to linen, shoddy and silk, and is applied ’ after tlie goods are dyed, bleached, or printed. Tile first untic-rense goods being marketed are men’s ties, which were chosen as tiie host articles to -demonstrate i lie advantages of flic new discovery.
