COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING RATES AND REPORTS Cr W. E. Barber presided at the meeting of the Manawatu County Council at Sanson, there being also present (Vs M Kcivic, Pcirett. Morcom, J. Boyce. Pearce and Re d. ■RATE COLLECTOR S REPORT Mr A. Andrew. , the rate collector, reported: Arrears of rates have been coming in very slowly. J propose sending out notices, with a demand for current rates to all ratepayers in arrear. The demands for current rates will he ready t > post in alsjut a week’s time. The 12) per cent, rebate has created a good deal of extra lal >our in connection with same. TREASURER’S REPORT Tlie county treasurer. Mr A. IC. Drew, reported: The amounts . hown a s available for expenditure on tho various ridings were as follow*: Sundon, £344; Mt. Stewart, £258; Waitohi, £217; R ingotea. £358; Carnarvon. £186; Kawa 1C;; wu, £421; Awahou, £207. RATE ROLL The following alterations to the county iate roll were- authorised: A. L>. Seaton to M. L. Noble, lot 1, pt. sees. 313 and 384. Carnarvon; H. G. Forlong to H. A. Foil eng, sect ion 30, Tangimoana.
