HEAVY TRAFFIC FEES Kairanga County Council serretary forwarded a statement of heavy traffic fees collected showing .£144 las tod being due to Pohangina. GRANTED C)R REFUSED Mr A. McKay (Apiti) wrote asking for attention to Milter’s road.--Re-ferred to the engineer. Air D. C. Burkinan (Apiti) asked or the drain in front, of his place to be cleaned out.- —To he attended to. Air R. Osborne (Apiti) wrote asking for road metalling into the house where he is living. Referred to. the engineer. Mr C. E. Johnson a-sked for the road to be metalled past his gate at Wanna.—Declined as unreasonable. THO’SE WORTH!.ESS DOGS Kairanga Coumy Council wrote asking support of a proposal to amend the Dog Registration Act so that the fees payable in respect of sporting dogs be increased from 10s to £1 or oven £2. They had received numerous complaints of sheep worrying by sporting dogs and if owners had to pay a higher lee, ‘‘t weald haye_the effect of reducing the number of stray dogs. Or Pratt: The country is lull of worthless dogs and owners should be made to pay for them. The proposal was supported. RIDING EXTEKDITURE The treasurer (Air A. E.
