ffnf.ral obrfqttf.r YESTERDAY A LENGTHY CORTEfTR There were over 100 motor cars in the funeral procession yesterday which followed the mortal remains of -Mr Ernest Hasxall to their last resting place In the Church of England p vrt-ioh of the Feilding cemetery. The Rev.- Canon Petrie, M.A., Vicar of the parish, conducted the ceremony. The chief mourners w-ei© the two' sons, of the family, -Messrs Gilbert, and Malcolm Hasftoll, Mr W. fins sail, of Titnaru, a brother, and Mr J. Sinclair, of New Plymoutn. brother of Mrs Hassall. The pall bearers were branch, managers and employees of the Now Zealand .Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Co., Messrs C. Johnston, J- Himxlysido, A. C. Buist, V. Lawrence, M. Andrews, iC. Fowler and J. Gold-trine. A patrol of Roy Scouts under command of .Scoutmaster E. Street, formed .a guard for the cortege. At tiro cemetery the officers and h. tliron of the Masonic Lodge took charge of tho coffin and laid their departed brother’s remains to. rest with tlie solemn. Masonic ceremony. There were many beaut, wreaths placed upon the grave, tho foliowifi.g, amongst others, stU'ding
