COUNTRY GIRL'S FORTUNE NO DEFINITE FLANS MADE The winning of a £2OOO art union has not disturbed very greatly the life of Jiiss Gladys Mclntosh. of Tangowahine. Northern Wairoa. who was successful in the art union drawn in Wellington. Jiiss Jlclntosh is one of a family of 14 engaged in share-milking at Tangawaliine. “I do not feel very much different from what I felt on Saturday before I heard the news.” JlLs Mclntosh said. ”lf is hard to realise, of course, but really I am trying not to bother too much alsnu this sudden stroke' of luck. Naturally. I am plecsel about it, hut it is not worth while losing your head, even over a sum as hlg as £2000.” Asked what iter future plans were. Miss Mclntosh said she was not going to make any hasty decision. She preferred to wait until she got rhe money before making any definite plans.
