The Ixiard agreed to the reduction to £3, at the same time adopting Mr Campbell’s suggestion. AT TANGIMOANA Mr A. 11. Rogers wrote asking .when the line Would bo extended to ;Tahgimoana. The secretary reported that only 1 applications had been returned out o the 52 who had agreed to take the power. The undertaking would only be payable at 52 consumers. Mr Guy: Why not give them the opportunities of getting juice front Wanganui-Rangitikei ? That Board i s only too ready to supply them. Tho chairman disagreed with Mr Guy, adding that the WanganuiRangitikei Board was harder to satisfy in the matter of guarantees than Manawat u-Oroua. Mr Rogers is to be informed of the position.
