THE PRESENT PLANS PALMERSTOX TO BE VISITED (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Aug. 8. Mr. 15. Shiel. aviation officer for the Vacuum Oil Company, who returned to-day on the Monowai, states that Sir Charles Kingsfovd Smith definitely intends to carry out liis flight to New Zealand.
He purposes leaving Sydney on or about September 14, in the early hours of the morning, - o'clock is the . time set for August 14 when the , moon is at the full.| The original Southern Cross will | be used and he hopes to arrive lmfore 1 dusk. The crew will consist of Sir Charles Kingsfoyd Smith, as pilot; Mr. “Scotty” Alien, second pilot ; and navigator; and Mr. Htannage, wireless operator. Probably a passenger will lie carried. The itinerary in New Zealand will he Xew Plymouth to Auckland, thence to Hamilton, Wanganui, l’nlmertson, Masterton, Blenheim, Christchurch, Timaru, Otngo and Invercar-
