ILL EFFECTS FROM STOUT LOSS OF WAGES CLAIMED Dunedin, June 27. At a sitting of the -Magistrate’s Court, John. Low claimed LlOl from )Vhole:.der s Ltd., for logs of wages expenses, etc., incurred allegedly through stout drunk at the Outram Hotel last October, which, upon analysis by a Government analyst, was stated to contain sulphate t f copper. The evidence of the hotelkeeper wa s that it was Tiroaru stout, purchased from Wholesalers, Ltd. Other evidence showed that several other men became unwell on partaking from the tame bottle. The Health Department inspector stated that he had been shown the method used by Wholesalers, Ltd., in washing the bottles, and consider, ed it satisfactory. Decision was reserved.
