Nominations received totalled 103, compared with 151 in 1929. The battle for the scats is complicated considerably by tliei fact that tile two main parties have to oppose not only each other, hut also 2<) candidates from the Queen-land Party, six- Communists, Lang Plan nominees and several Independents.
