HOLD ANNUAL MEETING THE FEEDING BRANCH At tlie annual meeting- of the Feilding branch of the National Beekeepers’ Association, the followingofficers were elected for the year: President, Mr D. G. Fraser. VicePresident and Treasurer, Air A. Anderson. Secretary, Miss C. A. Bennett. Committee, Messrs J. V. Callingham, R. Rink, S. S vend sen, and Miss Short. REPORT AND APPRECIATION IT he report mentioned that this branch - started the year with a membership of seven and ha* now increase*} its number to 15. Several lectures and demonstrations which have been very helpful to and much appreciated by the beekceper s of the district were given during- the year by Mr 1). S. Robinson. A very hearty vote of thanks war accorded Mr Robinson for his assistance. A NEW COAIB A special vote of thanks was ac: corded the general secretary, Air A. Ecroyd, of Christchuch, for a donation of mlb's of the new Acorn weed foundation comb for the competitors in the recent Cup contest. Members who have tried- the comb report that it is very satisfactory. THANKS AND PROG RAM ME Thanks were also accorded the judges of the competition and Mr P. G. Guy for courtesies. Meetings were arranged for the year and at the next meeting* the proposed standardisation of honey prices will be discussed.
