ANNUAL M Id*TING OF UNION OUFI( ERS EI.ECTED I-AYR YEAR The annual meeting of delegates of the .Manawatu Rugby Union was held at Palmerston North last night. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Mr PI. F. Gibbons; President, Mr J. . Colquhouii; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs A. \Y. Thompson, T. Pagan and E. I>. Alaekie; management 'committee-, Ale.ssrs K. Formal advice was received that Mr H. Hands had been appointed to represent the Referees’ Association on the management committee. The primary schools’ representative has not been appointed yet. , FOURTH GRADE COMPETITION The Kin Tea Club wrote suggesting that it wovdd be better for all concerned if the age limit for fourth grade players he clone away with, and Mr Crawford moved that the suggestion be given -effect to. The motion was carried on the voices, and Mr Colling then . moved that the management committee be asked t (> consider the advisability oi imposing a weight limit, this being adopted also.
