TRAGIC AIR CRASHES
PLANE WRECKED IN ORCHARD FATAL PLUNGE IN RIVER fAust and N.Z Cable) Vancouver, March 21. Heavy weather resulted in two serious aeroplane accidents. Charred wreckage in an orchard is all that remains of -an American Airways plane which, was lost in a, fog in the Northern Californian mountains. Seven were killed. The liner struck high-tension, wires, tben: plunged to the ground. The. wreckage was scattered: over five acres. The trans-continental mail plane crashed in. the Ohio river. The pilot and a woman passenger wore killed.
