Charred wreckage in an orchard is all that remains of -an American Airways plane which, was lost in a, fog in the Northern Californian mountains. Seven were killed. The liner struck high-tension, wires, tben: plunged to the ground. The. wreckage was scattered: over five acres. The trans-continental mail plane crashed in. the Ohio river. The pilot and a woman passenger wore killed.
