Tn this production he is seen with Marian Marsh as Trilby, who succumbs to villain Svengali’s hypnotic influence and becomes a great, operatic star. When Svengali becomes weakened, however, a thrilling climax eventuates Can Trilby escape his power even at his death? It i s a splendid feature, Mr Barrymore adding to his successes, and proving that he is still powerful in drama. The play is admirably cast all through.
