ELECTION OF ASSESSOR
FOR FEILDTNG BOROUGH R ATEPA YEHS’ M FETING TO-NIGHT For tlip purpose- of oleciing nn assessor to represent the borough on the assessment Court-, a public, meeting of ratepayers will he held in the Borough Ccyjf|nei-1 Chambers at 8 o'clock to-night. Only those ratepayers whose names appear a s ratepayers on the ratepayers’ roll will ho entitled t > vote. This means that the wife of a ratepayer (unless she herself is a. ratepayer) will not have a. vote. The Town Clerk will preside as Returning officer, and according to the law will have complete charge of the meeting. The method of waiting is by secret ballot. A ballot paper will he supplied to- ear'll ratepayer present, who will vote in the ordinary way of a secret ballot.

sentative on the Assessment Court and Air A. ,T. Goarv.
