Another instance of tfie Royal Family’s interest in the revival of British industries wa s given. when the Queen summoned leaders of the jewellery trade to Buckingham Unlace and discussed the use of British enamels as applied to silverware and jewellery. Her Majesty showed the jewellers specimens of attractive foreign enamel work, whiejh they agreed that thev could produce at the same price.
