For a lot of eight hales he received O 4 ;1 per lb. The change from the period of good t imes for I lie wool growers is appreciated when it is remembered that three years ago Mr Short received 25d per H> for his Romney lambs’ wool, of similar quality to that which topped the market at the sales this week.
