There have been ninny casualties, and the streets arc occupied by troops with mat bine-guns. Barcelona is dominated by mobile shock police driving armoured cars equipped witli machine guns. A group of 200 Anarchists have been deported to the Canary Islands. OUTBREAK IN SOUTH AUTHORITIES REG AINIXG CONTROL Madrid. Jan. 22. While the Government forces are steadily suppressing tlie revolt in Catalonia, a new outbreak lias occurred in tlie south, where a general strike has been declared. At Malaga the strikers damaged railways, temporarily blocking the traliie reinforcements sent from Saragossa, where revolutionaries attempted to blow up three churches. The militiuy have regained control at Atnnresa and ordered the summary shooting of persons carrying arms. The railway between Barcelona and Mahresa lias been dynamited.
