MR G. N. GOLDIE IMPRESSED THE STANDARD IS HIGH ANDREWS MAY VISIT N.Z. Wellington, December 1. Returned from a tour of the Old Country, where he attended the nHIEggl and tennis championships at Wimbledon, Air G. N. Goldie, a. life member of the New Ze-yla.nd Lawn Tennis Association, and a member of i s couibcil, arrived n Wellington on the Makum. He said lio had been greatly impressed with the standard of tennis in England, t particularly that of the women pluyeyf?, Air Goldie -said that E. D Andrews, formey, New Zealand ehain•pion, who made .a. great reputation for himself in the tennis world in Grerfj Britain, was very likely to visit the Dominion shortly.
