OBJECTION OFFERED The conference decided ;to oppose tho increase in the ?p£pd of heavy commercial vehicles as proposed under the heavy traffic regulations ou the grounds that a. faster speed for such vehicles would cause greatly increased costs in load and bridge maintenance and a substantial increase in the danger to the travelling public.
