Round Table Conference GOYEBXMENTB DECISION (Auat. ana N.Z. Cable! Rugby. Aug. 20. The India Office announces that the Government lias decided to convene a Burma Round Table Conference and invite representatives of interests ilu Burma to meet representatives of the Government and other parties in Parliament for tho purpose of seeking the greatest possible measure of agreement regarding tho future constitution of Burma and tbo relations of Burma with India. The Burma sub-committee of tho Indian Round Table Conference in January last made a recommendation in favour of the separation of Burma. The primary task of tile Burma Conference will be to discuss the lines of the constitution for a separated Burma. It is intended that the conference assemble in November.
