STOCK SALE YESTERDAY FAT SHEEP AND DAIRY STOCK DECLINE Prices for both fat sheep and dairy stock were easier at the Feilding sale ycsterda\. when largo yarding. s were offered. hi the fat sheep pcn& the quality wa s not up to that showing last week, and prices were down about 2.s per head all round. Ewes particularly were easier, hut wethers and black faces were riot so far below prices of a week ago. Fat wethers, priiuest heavy, 20s; very good. 17s to !7s lOd; good, 10s 9d ; fair Ids 8d b its 3d. Fat ewes, primest 17s 9d to 18s pi ijue, lOs Od to 17s Id; good 12? 6d to 14s Gd; fair, lls 4d ; poor, 8s Od. Fat h.f.s very good condition 10s «kl to 10s od. Fat hoggets, fairly good condition, 12s 7d to 14s ; fair, 11s Id to 11s sd; jihorer at 8s Od. Fat lambs, 18s. Stores. —Ewe hoggels. good 11/10 to 14s 0d : others 7s 4d to s Sd : wether hoggets 8s to 0s Od: two-tooth owes r.w. Southdown ranis 13s Sd. A licaw yarding of dairy stock, chiefly heifers late revivers sold at prices less in favour of vendors than at previous sales. Generally the quality was good, but farmers were not inclined to raise the standard of values. Good heifers running with hull £6 o s to C 6 12s Gd; fair condition, Co to Co IDs ; others £4 to £4 15 s.; poor from £3. Heifers calved, £2 to £2 5s heifers in milk C-1 2s Gd to £6 los.
