pute between a man and an employee of a well-known establishment. The
affair became heated and some b.v- - anders are understood to haw taken
the i.art of ihe man whom the employee wished to detain. He got
away, however, and rho employee suffered a minor injury to his head from someone's boot.
i appears rba* the trouble originated inside the shop. One of the employees grew suspicious of the actions of a man and it was thought ho had taken something. He was approached, bu* shortly afterwards
n*a le his wa.\ out of the shop and was followed. The altercation took place on the footpath. According to accounts it was lively while it lasted. 'Hie manager of the shop said the affair was “tiuii.e trivia!.”
