CAUSES FATAL ACCIDENT BOY KILLED AT NEWBURY SON OF MR BENNETT OF K A F WHAT A The intersection of Ttangi i ikoi line with IP.mnyth vrpe-Kairanga road, Newbury, was the scene of a motoring fatality shortly before 9 o’clock last night. Ah- J. IT. Bennett of Kauwahata was driving his family and friends • home after attending church in. Palmerston. Tn the ear were the son and daughter of Mr Bennett, also Eric Anting, a neighbour, and Alan Caribou* oi Fcildihg. The ear was going slowly' nearing the intersection when the wheels looked. Harold Bennett, aged I*2 years, was killed outright, his head and body being badly broken. IT is brother and Alan Oiithew, escaped injury, hut Miss Bennett suffered an injured shoulder and Erie . Young, suffered an injured ear. n.’id Afr Bennett was badly hurt
